We usually only feature stories related to dogs, but this crazy series of pictures was sent to us by a reader who thought it was fascinating. And it is. Check out this determined bear. He wants food, and is not taking no (nor gravity) for an answer.

And bingo- We could all learn from this bears determination.

It seems that everyone loves the Labrador Retriever!

According to registration statistics released recently by the American Kennel Club the Labrador Retriever is the most popular dog breed in the USA. The Lovable labs have held the top postition amongst other dog breeds for the last 20 years. They took over the dog popularity contest in 1991 when they stole the #1 spot from the Cocker Spaniel.

The Labrador Retriever is not only popular in the United States. Statistics released in the last 3 years from the UK Kennel Club and the Canadian Kennel Club also place the the Lab at the top of their most popular dog breed lists.

Why has the Labrador Retriever attained this amount of popularity amongst dog owners? Obviously because they have a great disposition and have realllly cute puppies! No, seriously, the Labrador dog breed has a great, loving personality which make them a perfect family dog. They are easily trained and are very keen to please their master and because of this have become a favorite dog breed for jobs like Seeing Eye Dogs and Drug Sniffing dogs. Labs come in three colors: Chocolate Labrador Retrievers, Yellow Labrador Retrievers and the Black Labrador Retrievers.

Whiplash, the Dog Riding Cowboy

Here he is below, Wiplash the dog riding cowboy. He’s a little monkey with a big western heart, and generally makes eveybody laugh. What he needs now are some little quirky tongue in cheek tshirts. While we don’t make quirky tongue in cheek tshirts for monkeys, we do make some very fine t-shirts for dogs. Click and see.

So here they are. According to Guinness World Records, Augie from Dallas Texas holds the record for most balls in mouth, with a total of 5!!

Next up, we have Striker, the worlds fastest car window opener (non-electrical). Striker hails from warm, warm Quebec City, Canada. One can understand why he’d be in a rush to get those windows down, what with the heat and all. His record time? 11.34 seconds!
